Kerala Police Housing & Construction Corporation Ltd. (KPHCC) was established by the Government of Kerala in accordance with the directives of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, vide G.O. (MS) No. 57/90/Home dated 06.04.1990. The Corporation was constituted with the primary objective of undertaking the construction, maintenance, and modernization of infrastructure required for the Police Department and other organizations under the Home Department of the State. Subsequently, the Corporation was registered under the Companies Act, 1956 on 02.07.1990 as a State Government Company.

Since its inception, KPHCC has been entrusted with the construction and maintenance of police stations, residential quarters, office buildings, barracks, training institutions, and other infrastructure facilities for the Police Department, Vigilance & Anti-Corruption Bureau, Prisons Department, and Fire & Rescue Services. Over the years, the Corporation has expanded its activities and has undertaken construction projects for various other Government Departments and public sector organizations entrusted by the State Government.

The Corporation functions as a specialized construction agency of the Government of Kerala, focusing on the timely execution of quality infrastructure projects, adopting modern construction technologies, ensuring cost-effectiveness, and maintaining high standards of engineering and project management. Its contributions have played a significant role in strengthening the infrastructure of the law enforcement and public service sectors across the State.
